The Barozzi Group was contacted because in this logistics warehouse, which is 60.000 square metres large and 12 metres high, during summer months, perishable food, cosmetics etc. could not be stocked at the top because of high temperatures. This also caused warehouse workers to faint.
We suggested the application of Thermo-Lux for outdoor use on the covering with an illuminating surface over 50%, which was made of fibreglass and polycarbonate.
From the thermographic assessment it is clear that Thermo-Lux is extremely effective.
The temperature difference measured inside, under the roof, showed a reduction of 7°C during spring months, whereas during summer months the difference was 11,5°C.
